It's true. You get what you pay for. There are two basic levels of clothing that you need to understand. There are the bargain bins and then there is the good stuff.
First lets talk about the bargain bins and understand that when it comes to "bargain prices" you can find quality clothing. However, on the other hand, so many of the so called bargains are not really bargains at all.
Sure the price is slashed to 60% off of the sale price of 50% off but too many times the quality of the garment is not a bargain at all. You wind up paying more for something that will ware out much faster and chances are you won't really be happy. Then you have to spend more money to find another bargain.
I suggest you start your shopping by looking for a quality garment by a well known designer. The "good stuff". Designer clothing, for the most part is the real bargain. Take a good polo shirt as and example. You buy one, pay a little higher price but it will last you for years. In the long term, you pay less.
So should you stay away from the bargain bins? Absolutely not. Once you have decided on a particular piece of clothing, you can shop the bargain bin looking for a garment of the same brand name and style. If you find something similar then buy it. Then you can truly say you found a bargain. Otherwise, keep looking and always look for the good stuff.
Just remember, there are two basic levels of clothing, the bargain bins and the good stuff. So have fun shopping, look for the good stuff and find yourself a great bargain.
